Love has a measure
Like any relationship, there can be times in a long distance relationship that you argue or go through tough times. Can a long-distance relationship work? No. A Long-distance relationship (LDR) all started off by online dating. We talk, get to know each other - then we decided if this dating will work out. Being 216 miles we have hope in knowing it’ll work out. We start dating, after a month we both finally had the time to meet one-another. Being 216 miles away we only see each other, every 3 weeks. During these three weeks of a long distance relationship you can’t get: every second together, every touch cherished, don’t have enough time together, being crushed by jealousy.
Being in love with someone that lives 216 miles away makes it so hard for the couple too see each other. One of the couples have to make an effort to see the other, either driving those 216 miles or having to waste money for a plane ticket. Even if they see each other itll probably be only one or two days every two or three weeks why? either both of them have a job or responsibilities they have to attend. When they have time to see each it always hurts them to say goodbye because even though it was for a day or two it felt like seconds to them. falling in love with someone who lives that far away is painful because it hard to keep each other happy.
“ everytime we touch i get this feeling. and everytime we kiss, i swear i could fly. can’t you feel my heart beat fast, i want this to last. need you by my side.” Every Time a long distance couple are together they always cherish there touch why? because when one they are apart from each other they wish the had each other to walk around a fair or mall holding hands. They miss being touched by the one they love. Cherishing the moments they hug or hold hands or even their kisses are everything to one another because they know it won't be for another couple of weeks till they see each other again. Being able to have that image in your head of being hugged so tight because someone loves you so much is amazing.
Long distances relationships are the hardest because the couples never have enough time with each other. Like i said before being together for a day or two only feels like there a couple seconds only. Only having a little time together isn't the best because they both want to go on dates with each other or take each other to special events but aren't able unless they plan a vacation with one another. “There is never enough time to do the things you love.” There is never enough time in a long distance relationship. Not having enough time with each other also cause problems with the relationships.
When being in a relationship it’s all about trust and if you don’t have trust you don't have a relationship, it’s even harder when that relationship is a long distance one. Being in a long distance is difficult because you live in one place and your partner live in another and by that you don't know what they're doing and sometimes you get jealous when you don't have a clue what they're up to when you're not there or talking to each other 24/7. At the beginning the couple will get attached to one another real quick, by that it means there talking on the phone 24/7 or either skyping or texting all the time. After a while it gets harder being able to text or talk because they have responsibilities to attend like a job and that being they don't have time to be texting 24/7 and one of the couples starts getting jealous because they feel like something bad is happening. At this point mostly both partners get jealous really quickly because they suspect things they shouldn't be suspecting because that means instead of trust there is a lot of jealousy happening.
A working long distance relationship mostly works if you live 125 miles away, Couples tend to visit each other less then twice a month and call each other at least once every three days. instead of cutting off you friends you should try to be around them more often so you won't constantly try to talk to your partner. When you finally see each other its better not to avoid talking about the problems you two had, communication is the key to a healthy relationship.
40% of LDR end up breaking up, 70% of break ups are caused by having changed plans when they're not supposed to be changed. i feel like most LDR end up splitting up because not once is going to call one once for three days. Being in a LDR feel like you always have to be talking to each other and trying to see each other as much as they can which isn't always possible because of responsibilities they have. i feel like there going to get clingy with each other and some people don't like clingy they need their space. At the end i feel like most LDR won't work but if they do i feel like thats amazing for the couple.
